We are a nonprofit, member-owned corporation made up of members/stockholders,
who pay a one-time fee of $50.00 per household. It is our intent to provide
services at the lowest possible cost to our members.
Our transmitting tower is located one mile Southwest of Granite Falls. The
organization was founded in 1960 for the sole purpose of receiving and transmitting
television signals to this part of Minnesota.
To receive all of MVTV's UHF Basic Channel Lineup, you will need a good all-band
UHF antenna, good lead-in wire and a good booster. To receive all of MVTV's
MMDS Channels you will need a MMDS antenna. The MMDS Channels are a repeat
of the UHF package.
In April of 1999 MVTV began providing a High Speed Broadband Wireless Internet
Service.
MVTV's signals are line of site-trees, buildings, rain, snow, and distance
from tower can affect the quality of signals throughout the year.
